For a long time if you'd have asked me if I preferred doing newborn sessions in the studio or in-home, I definitely would have said studio. Photography is all about the lighting, and I never have to worry about lighting in my studio. My strobes are reliable and consistent—unlike sunshine in Chicago!
But more and more I'm really enjoying my in-home sessions (in spite of the often challenging lighting scenarios). I love capturing those real, organic moments between mom, dad and their new little one, like the ones from this newborn session in Lakeview. Enjoy!
